Brunching, photo booth fun and classy bridal shower games made for one dreamy event at the Harbour Banquet Centre in Oakville. A lovely group of ladies were welcomed with signature cocktails, treated to a DIY doughnut bar and enjoyed the most delicious of take-home guest favours. Huge shoutout to the dream crew below:

Elegant long-stemmed glassware together with simple, modern table numbers created a relaxed and warm look for the round tables at Jennifer’s bridal brunch. At Jennifer’s bridal brunch, the banquet style brunch tables held all the additional flatware and cutlery needed which kept the guest tables looking simple and chic.

Double-up guest favours as decor

Simply adding a ribbon or a simple gift box to guest favours can help double them up as decor pieces. Miniature bottles of champagne and individual mini cakes made for elegant favours as well as an elevated design for the cake table. Guests were also treated to custom designed chocolate boxes which were immaculately paired with the signature cocktails.

Laura Olsen designs events that unfold with an effortless flow. This makes her a perfect fit for any event that needs an eye for design and precision but desires the effect of simple elegance and fun.  A custom floral design for the chair of the bride-to-be and crafted signature cocktails added small touches of chic design throughout the morning. Meanwhile, modern touches to the tables through glassware and cutlery really brought the whole vision of this bridal shower brunch to life.

Add a bonus element of fun with a custom designed photo booth

The stationery design of the event was continued with a custom photo booth design. This also added a bonus element of fun to the morning. Guests grabbed props and took a quick selfie with the bride-to-be. Making sure the venue has a plain wall with a good amount of natural light is useful for the success of a DIY photobooth at an event. It’s also a great idea to let guests know a hashtag to use or a gallery link to send their photos to for a collection point of all the guest images taken during the event.

Classy bridal shower games and guest book ideas

It’s always expected at a bridal shower that games will be played, gifts will be given and that there will be a guest book to sign. Because this bridal brunch needed to flow and feel elegant,  the games were kept classy and to the perimeter of the venue. This encouraged guests to mingle with their cocktails and take a look around. Pre-addressed envelopes urged guests to leave well wishes for the bride-to-be while brunch was served and table games were played.

While a doughnut bar is sure to make the bride-to-be indulge a little, nothing will make her smile this wide other than a surprise visit from her main man! Be the best bridesmaid and remind/encourage him to make her day with a short visit towards the end of the event. Also, get him to bring along a little something for his soon-to-be wife (and the two mammas for some extra bonus points too).
