My Story

Hello, I’m Christine

But let’s be friends, you can call me chris!

I’m Zimbabwean born, South African by heart, Irish by passport and most recently, officially a Canadian by postal code.

I’m now based in the beautiful ‘burbs of Burlington, Ontario where I do life with my sweet (and sensible) husband and our wild (ly) cute two little guys who keep me firmly on my toes.

My story…

Est. 2010

It all started with a media + communication degree with journalism (+ theatre) majors.

I fell in love with photography as a medium for telling stories and evoking emotion but the fun side of family portraits won me over for my first “real” job. After a year of managing a portrait studio in Cape Town, I booked my first solo wedding clients, headed out on my freelance way and haven’t looked back since.

I can now be found, both in my studio and on location, documenting entrepreneurs and business owners doing their thing.

I’m also still making the magic out of the madness with my family clients celebrating special milestones or enjoying seasonal sessions and…because I can’t say no to a slice of cake and a sweet love story, I also shoot a limited number of delightfully small and intimate weddings each year.

Oh, and in 2022, I brought one of my BIG dreams to life and founded The Clover Collective.

I’m a Canon gal. Two camera bodies (Canon), a bunch of lenses + the essential flashes & gadgets are in my bag. I always have a reflector & kleenex on hand and my styling kit is full of simple seasonal props & some backup bribes for emergencies.

And I’ll admit, you’ll likely find a chocolate bar or two in there too.

Over the last decade of building my photography business (while raising my babies), as I’ve grown…so has my vision for supporting the entrepreneurs, focussed freelancers and passionate business owners who cross my path.

Often after I’ve worked on a photography session with a business owner, the next step stress kicks in; what to post, when to post, how to use the imagery to best elevate their brand and tell their story.

After four years helping my clients with extended content creation services, I’m finally making things official here with:
