When it’s Feb 1st and you’re finally caught up on all those holiday piles on your desk and the sweetest little love note comes at JUST the time you need the reminder of why you do what you do. Truly. Your tags over the holiday season and taking the time to leave reviews and telling your friends to book with me…I never have the words to fully express my gratitude but I’m going to give it a go with a series of love letters from my inbox to yours during the course of this month! You know, I posted this graphic to @clovercollective.ca not too long ago but as I sit here on the eve of Small Business Saturday, I have some things to say!

First, of course, THANK YOU!!! Friends, this has been the fullest, most beautiful season of my career to date and to say I am humbled and truly thankful doesn’t even begin to cut it!

Secondly, it has to be said, but the last four years have been a WILD ride of trying to keep my business afloat! Alongside Rhys’s illness and subsequent needs and requirements of me (@paperplanesandpeaches), navigating the pandemic with two babies at home and then grabbing my BIG business dream by two hands (@clovercollective.ca) a whole two years before my “business plan” said I should.

And here i’m sitting (probably like every solo-run business owner does after bedtime) prepping for tomorrow’s day in the studio, sending guides for next week’s and checking backups for last and exporting galleries to goodness, SO many new clients I could cry…and in fact, I have and I am and I probably will 726 times between now and the end of the season.

I’m tired, but totally energized by what I have coming your way (just trying to figure out the timing of it all!) But most of all, as always, I’m just truly truly grateful that since I took this leap in 2010, I’ve managed to hold onto this business-building dream thanks to all of you.

I didn’t have any sales this weekend because you know me, gift giving is WAY more my style so if I were you, I would join the email list and keep a look out for what’s coming at the end of the week!

Just over here wondering how we BLINKED and went from spring flower farm shoots to full weekends of studio holiday sessions? But while I figure that out, here’s a HUGE birthday wish going out to one of my biz besties and mamma to this BEAUTIFUL bunch @spunkysapphire!!!

Let me tell you a quick story about her manifestation abilities because today she’s unpacking her DREAM of living on a farm when just a few short months ago these two looked at each other when they arrived at @allwhowanderflowerfarm and went “oh honey, wouldn’t this be nice!!” You guys!!!! Congratulations on one spectacular year. Here’s to another trip around the sun and many more cute adventures with your crew!!
