Catching up with these two for their Dundurn Castle maternity session couldn’t have made my heart happier. I mean, anytime I get to continue the story of one of my couples is special but Megan & Najja make hanging out so fun and easy that it’s hard not to miss them in between sessions.
Maternity & Milestone sessions
These two booked in for a maternity and milestone combination collection and although they have since welcomed their sweetheart to the world, instead of a newborn session, I’ll be meeting her in a couple of months for a milestone session once she is sitting and I just can’t wait! You should see the HAIR on her.I will admit, I may be her biggest Instagram fan already! I love giving my combination clients the choice between newborn sessions or milestone moments and have found that many prefer to wait until their littles are smiling and a little more interactive and their sweet personalities have developed a bit.
Photography locations in Hamilton and Burlington | Dundurn Castle Maternity Session
I like to give my clients a variety of location options and we’re spoilt for choice when it comes to photography in Hamilton and Burlington. I suggested Dundurn Castle to Megan and it’s such a gem of a location too. We took a stroll around the grounds during golden hour one last summer afternoon and took advantage of the open natural spaces as well as the urban feel of the castle walls providing a really cool backdrop. When we chatted through outfit options for their session, Megan wanted to keep things comfy and casual and true to themselves. Najja also decided to ditch his moonboot accessory for this session and was SUCH a trooper trekking around the grounds with us for the afternoon. This guy will do anything to keep his ladies happy and it’s just about the sweetest thing in the world to be able to document.
