If there is one thing I love more than booking a beautiful couple, it’s when a few months later, the couple decide to add a couple shoot to their wedding collection. It’s fast becoming my favourite part of the booking process. A specific time for them to get comfortable in front of the camera. Time for me to get to know them as a couple. But most importantly, a special time for them to just be together. Away from wedding planning madness. Somewhere special. Time to re-connect and get excited all over again.
For Jacques & Hannah, this somewhere special was even more so…the spot where he got down on one knee & she said yes. Our afternoon at Jonkerhuis in Constantia was windy and chilly but these two loved the excuse to cuddle up & enjoy a special afternoon together, while their two beautiful girls were looked after by Granny. Amongst the cuddles & kisses, Jacques looked proudly at his wife-to-be, while Hannah leaned comfortably and safely into his arms. Love like this is just the best kind.
Jacques & Hannah, I can’t wait to continue your story in just a few short weeks. Thank you for braving the chill, letting me shoot longer than I should have & for being such fun.
